    Volumetric Flow Control Technology

    The VFC (volumetric flow controlled) system uses differential pressure measurement to maintain consistent volumetric flow rates across varying field conditions. Flow rate must be maintained throughout the sampling period within the design flow rate range specified by the manufacturer, and design flow rates are specified as actual volumetric flow rates measured at existing conditions of temperature and pressure. This ensures accurate sample volume measurement critical for computing mass concentration as total collected particles divided by air volume sampled.
