The TE-6070VBLX delivers EPA-compliant PM10 monitoring with Volumetric Flow Control (VFC) technology for precise particulate matter collection. This high volume air sampler measures particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to 10 micrometers in ambient air over a 24-hour period for purposes of determining attainment and maintenance of the primary and secondary national ambient air quality standards as specified in 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix J.

Volumetric Flow Control Technology

The VFC system uses differential pressure measurement to maintain consistent volumetric flow rates across varying field conditions. Particle size discrimination by inertial separation requires that specific air velocities be maintained in the sampler's air inlet system, therefore the flow rate through the sampler's inlet must be maintained throughout the sampling period within the design flow rate range. This ensures accurate PM10 size separation and regulatory compliance.
