    PM2.5 Hi-Vol Air Sampler - VFC, Mechanical Timer, Brushless Motor, 220V 50Hz SKU: TE-6070VBLX-2.5

    Out of Stock

The TE-6070VBLX-2_5 high volume air sampler captures fine particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter ≤ 2.5 µm for non-regulatory environmental monitoring and research applications. Configured with volumetric flow control (VFC) technology to maintain consistent sampling flow rates across varying field conditions and environmental research requirements.

The VFC system uses a critical orifice with predetermined diameter to control flow rate, allowing only the predetermined flow rate to pass through the filter. The VFC controller uses ambient barometric pressure, ambient temperature and pressure drop across the filter holder to accurately calculate the actual ambient volumetric flow rate.

    Key Specifications

    • Sample Type: PM2.5 fine particulate matter (≤ 2.5 µm aerodynamic diameter)
    • Flow Control: Volumetric Flow Control (VFC)
    • Flow Rate: 40 CFM nominal operating flow rate
    • Motor: Brushless motor - maintenance-free operation without motor brushes
    • Timer: 7-day mechanical timer with bright yellow dial and on/off trippers
    • Power: 220V, 50Hz configuration
    • Filter Size: 8" x 10" filter media

    System Components

Complete sampling system includes motor, timer, flow controller, elapsed time indicator, outdoor aluminum shelter, and pressure recorder. The stainless steel filter holder accommodates standard 8" x 10" filter paper for PM2.5 collection. Anodized aluminum shelter and robust electrical components support continuous 24-hour sampling operations.

    Compliance and Applications

Designed for ambient air quality monitoring applications requiring PM2.5 data collection. Measures mass concentration of fine particulate matter for determining compliance with National Ambient Air Quality Standards as specified in 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix L. Suitable for environmental research, non-regulatory monitoring, and institutional air quality studies.

    Maintenance and Operation

The brushless motor design eliminates routine brush maintenance requirements common with brush-style motors. Calibration recommended upon installation, after motor maintenance, quarterly (every three months), and after 360 sampling hours. The mechanical timer provides straightforward scheduling control for routine sampling operations.
