This system combines volumetric flow control (VFC) using a critical orifice with a predetermined orifice hole diameter to control the flow rate, ensuring consistent sample collection for non-regulatory studies and institutional research.

    The volumetric flow controller maintains a constant flow rate to ensure the system collects an accurate and representative sample. The VFC system operates through a calibrated critical orifice that allows only the predetermined flow rate to pass through the 8" x 10" filter media, delivering reliable PM2.5 collection at 40 CFM.
