The TE-1004 is a brush style blower motor assembly specifically designed for Tisch Environmental's TE-PUF high volume air sampling systems. This 110-volt motor provides reliable airflow generation for polyurethane foam (PUF) sampling of semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in ambient air.
Technical Operation
The TE-1004 delivers consistent airflow through PUF sampling cartridges to capture semivolatile organic compounds from large volumes of air. An electrical source of 110 volts, 15 amps is required for operation. The motor features a voltage variator adjusting screw that alters the blower motor speed to achieve the flow rate desired.

Maintenance Requirements
Blower motor brushes should be inspected frequently and replaced before expending. Totally expended brushes greatly reduce motor life. After brush change apply 50% voltage for fifteen to twenty minutes to accomplish proper seating of new brushes.
Applications
The TE-1004 enables sampling for compliance with EPA Method TO-4, EPA Method TO-9A, and EPA Method TO-13A for measuring organochlorine pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls in ambient air. PUF-only sorbent systems meet ASTM D6209 and EPA IP-7, TO-4A and TO-13A specifications for environmental monitoring of pesticides, PCBs, PAHs, and other semivolatile air contaminants.
