TE-1004X 220V Brush Style Motor Assembly for PUF Systems SKU: TE-1004X

The TE-1004X is a 220-volt brush-style aluminum blower motor assembly specifically designed for PUF (Polyurethane Foam) high volume air sampling systems. This motor assembly provides the critical airflow required for sampling in accordance with EPA Method TO-4 for the determination of organochlorine pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls in ambient air.

Technical Operation

The TE-1004X features a brush-style universal motor design that operates on 220-volt electrical supply. Air flow rates are infinitely variable up to 280 liters per minute, with voltage variator adjusting screw altering the blower motor speed to achieve the desired flow rate. An electrical source of 110 volts, 15 amps is required for the 110-volt version, while this 220-volt model requires appropriate international power supply.

Maintenance Requirements

This brush-style motor requires regular maintenance for optimal performance. Motor brushes should be changed every 500 hours of operation, and the motor should be replaced after 2 brush changes. Blower motor brushes should be inspected frequently and replaced before expending. TE-5075 brush break-in device allows for the 50% voltage during initial brush conditioning.
