VFC Motor 110V 2-Stage for TSP and PM10 Samplers

The TE-115923 is a 2-stage, 1.0 HP vacuum motor specifically designed for Tisch Environmental's Volumetric Flow Controlled (VFC) systems used in EPA-compliant ambient air quality monitoring for TSP and PM10 sampling. This motor provides the reliable suction power necessary to maintain accurate flow rates through the VFC control system.

    Technical Specifications

This motor features a double ball bearing, through-flow discharge design that delivers consistent performance in continuous ambient air sampling applications. The unit operates on single phase 110V/60Hz power with earth ground and draws 20 amps during startup and 8 amps during normal operation.

    • Power: 1.0 HP, 110V/60Hz
    • Startup Current: 20 amps
    • Running Current: 8 amps
    • Design: 2-stage vacuum, double ball bearing, through-flow discharge
    • Operating Temperature: -30 to +50°C
    • Altitude Rating: Up to 10,000 feet above sea level

    System Compatibility

This motor is the standard 110V replacement component for all Tisch Environmental VFC systems, including:

    • TE-5170-V VFC TSP samplers
    • TE-6070V VFC PM10 samplers
    • All VFC systems designed for 42-45 CFM continuous flow rates

For 220V systems, use TE-116111 instead. The TE-115923 is not compatible with 220V power supplies.

    Maintenance Requirements

This motor requires regular brush replacement to maintain optimal performance and extend service life. Use replacement brush set TE-33392 specifically designed for this 110V motor. Brush inspection should be performed according to your sampling schedule and replaced when worn to prevent motor damage.

The motor's double ball bearing design provides extended service life in continuous operation environments typical of ambient air monitoring stations.
