The TE-300-310X is a complete mass flow controller assembly designed for brush-style high volume air sampling systems operating on 220-volt, 50/60 Hz power. This MFC maintains precise flow rates in EPA-compliant ambient air monitoring applications, automatically adjusting motor output to compensate for filter loading and environmental conditions throughout the sampling period.

    Mass Flow Control Technology

The mass flow controller continuously monitors actual volumetric flow using an integrated flow sensor and automatically adjusts the brush motor speed to maintain the programmed flow rate. The system operates within a flow range of 36-44 CFM (1.02-1.24 m³/min), making it suitable for TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 ambient air sampling applications that require consistent volumetric flow regardless of filter loading conditions.

    Key Specifications

    • Power Requirements: 220 volts, 50/60 Hz
    • Motor Type: Brush-style with carbon brush assembly
    • Flow Range: 36-44 CFM (1.02-1.24 m³/min)
    • Control Method: Mass flow with automatic flow compensation

    Compatibility

This 220V MFC is compatible with brush-style high volume air samplers including PM10 systems designated as EPA RFPS-0202-141. The TE-300-310X works with brush motor assemblies such as the TE-116312 (220V replacement motor). For 110V systems, use the TE-300-310 instead. Requires TE-33378 motor brush set for 220-volt motor maintenance.

    Maintenance Requirements

The brush motor requires periodic brush replacement to maintain optimal performance. Use TE-33378 motor brush set specifically designed for 220-volt brush motors. Tisch Environmental recommends regular inspection of brush wear and replacement according to operating hours and environmental conditions to ensure consistent flow control accuracy.

    Applications

Designed for EPA-compliant ambient air quality monitoring including TSP, PM10, and PM2.5 particulate sampling. The mass flow control capability makes this controller suitable for applications requiring precise flow documentation for regulatory compliance, source assessment studies, and long-term environmental monitoring programs where filter loading varies significantly during sampling periods.
