The TE-333 digital timer provides precise sampling control for TSP PM10 PM 2.5 and PUF samplers. This programmable timer ensures EPA-compliant sampling schedules and accurate elapsed time recording for ambient air quality monitoring applications. Compatible with high volume air samplers requiring reliable timing control for particulate collection.
Digital Control System
The TE-333 features a digital display and programmable controls for flexible sampling schedules. During a sample the timer can be "STOPPED" or "PAUSED," during a sampled press "F1" for timer, select "PAUSE" or "ABORT," select "YES" or "NO" to confirm. The TE-303 digital timer has an internal battery backup so in case of a power interruption, sampling data and timing parameters are retained.
Key Specifications
- Voltage: 110-220V universal input for global compatibility
- Display: Digital LCD with clear readout
- Battery Backup: Internal battery maintains settings during power outages
- Motor Control: Integrated relay switching for blower motor operation
- Programming: Menu-driven interface for sampling schedules
Sampler Compatibility
The TE-333 timer serves as a direct replacement for TE-303 and TE-303X digital timers in existing sampler configurations. Compatible with:
- TSP (Total Suspended Particulate) samplers for 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix B compliance
- PM10 high volume samplers for 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix J reference method
- PM2.5 sampling systems for 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix L monitoring
- PUF (polyurethane foam) samplers for semi-volatile organic compound collection per EPA TO-13A
This universal voltage design eliminates the need for separate 110V (TE-303) and 220V (TE-303X) timer models, simplifying inventory and installation requirements.
Installation & Operation
The other female cord set on timer (on the right) is hot all the time and plugs into the TE- 5009 Continuous Flow Recorder male cord set. The male cord set of timer plugs into the line voltage. The timer integrates seamlessly with existing sampler wiring harnesses and provides standardized control outputs for motor operation and data logging equipment.
Regulatory Applications
Essential for NAAQS compliance monitoring, the TE-333 ensures precise 24-hour sampling periods required for EPA reference methods. Supports ambient air quality monitoring programs, source emission testing, and industrial hygiene applications requiring documented sampling times and motor run hours.
