Replacement motor brushes specifically designed for motor part numbers TE-116312, TE-116111 and TE-116125 high volume air sampler motors. These 220-volt motor brushes are essential maintenance components for maintaining reliable operation of brush-style motors in Mass Flow Controlled (MFC), Volumetric Flow Controlled (VFC), and PUF (polyurethane foam) sampling systems.

    Technical Details

Brush-style motors require periodic brush replacement to maintain proper electrical contact with the motor commutator. As brushes wear during normal operation, they must be replaced to prevent motor damage and ensure consistent sampling performance. Each set includes two brushes with proper electrical characteristics for 220-volt operation.

    Compatibility

These motor brushes are compatible with the following Tisch Environmental 220-volt motors:

    • TE-116312 - Motor for Mass Flow Controlled systems
    • TE-116111 - Motor for Volumetric Flow Controlled systems
    • TE-116125 - Motor for PUF systems

Do not use with 110-volt motor assemblies or brushless motor systems. Verify your motor part number before ordering to ensure proper fit and electrical specifications.

    Maintenance Guidelines

Replace motor brushes when they become worn or damaged to prevent motor failure. Inspect brushes regularly during routine maintenance. Install both brushes as a matched set to ensure balanced motor operation. Follow proper break-in procedures after installation to ensure optimal brush-to-commutator contact.

Brush replacement is part of normal preventive maintenance for brush-style motor systems used in ambient air monitoring applications. Brushless motors do not use motor brushes or require this type of maintenance, but are higher in cost.
