    The TE-5030 is a 30-inch slack tube water manometer designed specifically for pressure measurement in high volume air sampling applications.     Operating Principle

    In its simplest form, the manometer is a U-tube about half filled with liquid. When positive pressure is applied to one leg, the liquid is forced down in that leg and up in the other. The difference in height indicates the pressure. A manometer is used to measure the pressure difference between two gases, often atmosphere and the gas being tested. The difference in the height of the liquid in each side is used to calculate the source pressure.
