    TE-QMA-100 Hi-Vol Quartz Microfiber Filters, 8" x 10", Numbered, 100/Box

High-purity quartz (SiO2) microfiber filters designed for PM10 air sampling in high volume samplers. These sequentially numbered sheets according to EPA standards deliver reliable particulate collection for regulatory compliance monitoring and ambient air quality assessment.

    Technical Specifications

Because of the low level of alkaline earth metals, "artifact" products of sulfates and nitrates (from SO2 and NO2) are virtually eliminated. 0.3µm DOP retention efficiency >99.995% ensures capture of fine particulate matter with exceptional efficiency.

    • Material: High-purity quartz microfiber (SiO2)
    • Dimensions: 8" x 10" sheets
    • Maximum operating temperature: up to 500°C
    • Pore size: 2.2 µm
    • Sequential numbering for EPA compliance
    • Package quantity: 100 filters per box

    EPA Compliance and Applications

These nominal 8 x 10 inch filters are typically used with high volume air samplers as specified in 40 CFR Part 50, Appendixes B (TSP) and J (PM10). The filters support 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix J reference method requirements for measurement of particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than or equal to a nominal 10 micrometers (PM10) in ambient air.

Used for air sampling in acidic gases, stacks, flues and aerosols, particularly at high temperatures, these filters excel in challenging environmental monitoring applications including:

    • PM10 ambient air quality monitoring
    • Particulate monitoring and heavy metal analysis
    • Stack and flue gas sampling
    • Industrial source emission testing
    • Regulatory compliance monitoring

    Compatibility

Compatible with all Tisch Environmental high volume air samplers and other manufacturers' 8" x 10" filter-compatible systems. The numbered format ensures proper sample chain of custody and EPA audit compliance.

    Quality Advantages

Due to the low level of alkaline earth metals, "artifact" products of sulfates and nitrates (from SO2 and NO2) are virtually eliminated. This high chemical purity makes TE-QMA-100 filters particularly suitable for accurate ambient air quality measurements where interference from filter substrate must be minimized.
