Hi-Vol Air Sampler with Digital Timer, Brush Motor, 220V 50Hz for PUF/VOC Sampling SKU: TE-1000DX

    Out of Stock

The TE-1000DX is a high volume air sampler that collects airborne particulate and vapor contaminants using a dual sampling module with polyurethane foam (PUF) media. These samplers are typically used to collect volatile organic compounds and airborne pesticides for ambient air quality monitoring and environmental compliance.

    EPA-Compliant Sampling Technology

These systems are designed to meet the requirements described for sampling using US EPA method TO-4A, TO-9A, and TO-13A. The dual sampling configuration collects airborne particulates onto the filter paper media and the vapor elements onto a piece of polyurethane foam in the lower chamber, enabling comprehensive collection of both particle-bound and gas-phase contaminants.

    Digital Timer Control

Features an advanced digital timer that allows for 1 in 3, 1 in 6, 1 in 7, and custom sampling schedules. Recommended by the US EPA, this digital timing system provides precise programming control and repeatable sampling periods essential for regulatory compliance monitoring.

    Operating Specifications

    • Flow Rate: Operates between 125-250 lpm
    • Motor Type: Brush style motor uses carbon motor brushes to conduct current within the electric motor
    • Power Configuration: 220V, 50Hz for international applications
    • Flow Control: Manual motor speed adjustment device to control the motor speed

    Construction and Instrumentation

The sampler is housed in an anodized aluminum shelter that houses the timer, magnehelic gauge, vacuum motor, elapsed time indicator, flow venturi, and dual sampling module. The magnehelic gauge records the pressure drop through the critical orifice. This value is used to calculate the ambient or standard flow rate.

    Brush Motor Maintenance

The brush-style motor provides proven reliability in field conditions. Brush style motors use carbon motor brushes to conduct current within the electric motor. They are low cost but require routine motor brush changes. Regular brush replacement ensures consistent performance and extends motor life.

    Applications

Ideal for environmental monitoring programs requiring collection of volatile organic compounds and airborne pesticides. The TE-1000DX configuration is well-suited for routine ambient air quality assessment, industrial emission monitoring, and research applications where reliable, high-volume sample collection with straightforward operation is required.
