    The TE-PUFPLUSBLX is a high volume air sampler configured for collecting volatile organic compounds, airborne pesticides, and PFAS in ambient air using a dual sampling module with polyurethane foam media. This system meets the requirements for sampling using US EPA methods TO-4A, TO-9A, and TO-13A for semi-volatile organic compound analysis.

    PLUS Technology Flow Control

    The PLUS controller utilizes a microprocessor-based system with built-in ambient temperature and barometric pressure sensors for instantaneous and accurate flow control. The controller includes a built-in digital timer with internal battery backup, multiple elapsed time indicators, and four data logs with USB export capability, recording average, minimum, and maximum ambient temperature, barometric pressure, and total ambient and standard flow rates.

    Dual Sampling Module Design

    The system incorporates a dual sampling module that collects airborne particulates onto filter paper media in the upper chamber and vapor elements onto polyurethane foam in the lower chamber. This configuration enables simultaneous collection of both particulate and vapor-phase contaminants for comprehensive ambient air monitoring.

    Brushless Motor Advantages

    The brushless motor does not use motor brushes and requires no routine maintenance, offering higher reliability with zero emissions during operation. This configuration is ideal for continuous field deployment where reduced maintenance intervals are critical.

    Applications

    This sampler is designed for ambient air quality monitoring of semi-volatile organic compounds including organochlorine pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The system follows EPA procedures for high volume PUF sampling methods for collecting samples for SVOC analysis including pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls.

    The complete system is housed in an anodized aluminum shelter with gabled roof assembly, designed to allow particulate matter to be drawn onto the filter from all four sides with rugged construction for minimal maintenance in outdoor environments.
