    The TE-5000D-BLX is a high volume air sampler configured for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) sampling in ambient air with no size selection, following US EPA reference method 40 CFR Part 50, Appendix B. This system draws ambient air through an 8" x 10" glass fiber filter at flow rates between 39-60 CFM, collecting all airborne particulates for gravimetric analysis and subsequent chemical identification.

    Advanced Digital Control System

    The integrated digital timer provides accurate sampling scheduling with improved precision over mechanical timer systems. Built-in battery backup ensures sampling schedules remain intact during intermittent power failures, critical for maintaining EPA compliance in field monitoring programs.

    Brushless Motor Technology

    The brushless motor eliminates routine brush maintenance requirements while providing extended service life with no carbon emissions. This 220V/50Hz configuration delivers reliable performance for continuous 24-hour sampling periods required by EPA reference methods.

    Manual Flow Control

    This manual flow controlled configuration provides an economical choice for basic TSP reference method sampling with simple motor speed adjustment to set the desired flow rate.     Complete System Configuration

    The sampler is housed in an anodized aluminum outdoor shelter with gabled roof assembly, designed to protect the instrumentation while maintaining proper aerodynamic collection characteristics. The physical design ensures collection of particles 100 micrometers (Stokes Equivalent Diameter) and smaller.

    TSP Monitoring Applications

    Primary applications include ambient air monitoring to determine suspended particulate levels relative to National Ambient Air Quality Standards.
