    The TE-5170VFCBLX is a high volume air sampler engineered for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) monitoring in compliance with EPA reference method requirements. Configured for ambient air quality monitoring, this sampler collects particles with aerodynamic diameters of approximately 100 µm or less without size-selective separation, providing complete particulate characterization for regulatory and research applications.

    PLUS Technology Controller

    The PLUS Technology volumetric flow controller combines a critical orifice with an advanced microprocessor-based controller to calculate and record ambient flow rate using temperature, barometric pressure, and orifice pressure measurements. The system includes a digital timer with battery backup for uninterrupted operation. PLUS technology controllers feature auto calibration capability, eliminating lengthy field calibration procedures and manual flow rate calculations.

    The PLUS controller includes built-in digital timer with internal battery backup, multiple elapsed time indicators, and four data logs with external USB drive for data retrieval. Data logs capture average, minimum, and maximum ambient temperature and barometric pressure, plus total ambient and standard flow.

    Brushless Motor System

    The brushless motor design eliminates carbon brush maintenance requirements while producing no emissions. This maintenance-free configuration supports continuous field operation with reduced service intervals and enhanced reliability for long-term monitoring programs.

    EPA Compliance
