Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping Terms (last updated Feb. 20, 2025)

Please carefully review our Shipping Terms when purchasing products from Tisch Scientific. Unless stated otherwise, this policy applies to any order placed with Tisch Scientific. 

We use UPS as our default shipping service for all domestic shipments within the contiguous United States. Customers may use their UPS, FedEx, or DHL account for collect billing by selecting this option at checkout. Otherwise, all shipments will be sent prepay-and-add using our default carrier. If you would like an estimate for prepay-and-add, please contact customer service, via email, at [email protected].

Typical delivery occurs within 3-5 business days when using standard service. Shipments outside of the contiguous United States may incur additional delays. Customers may request expedited shipping for their order by selecting an expedited service option at checkout.

DHL is available for international shipments, however, due to international embargos, we are unable to ship to Iran and North Korea. Specialized documents for customs may be requested, including a Certificate of Origin or Customs Declaration. Please note, we may be subject to various rules and restrictions in relation to some international deliveries and the customer may be subject to additional taxes and duties over which we have no control. If such cases apply, the customer is responsible for complying with their local and governmental laws. The customer is responsible for any costs, taxes, fees, tariffs, or liabilities associated with the import of their order.

We do not allow customers to pick up their shipment at our Cleves, Ohio location.

If a product is damaged in the shipping process, it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Tisch Scientific immediately. If a claim for damages is to be filed with the carrier, photographs of the original packaging and subsequent damage to goods may be required. Tisch Scientific will work with the carrier to file any necessary claims to recover the cost of the damaged goods. Additionally, Tisch Scientific will take the appropriate steps to replace or refund the damaged goods as required to resolve any resulting outstanding issues. 

Return Terms (last updated Feb. 20, 2025)

Please carefully review our Return Terms when purchasing products from Tisch Scientific. Unless stated otherwise, this policy applies to any order placed with Tisch Scientific.

To be eligible for return, the customer must meet several conditions:

1. The customer must receive prior written authorization through customer service to request a return.
2. Prior authorization will not be granted if the order is beyond 120 days from the date of shipment. 
3. The customer must obtain an RMA (Return Material Authorization) from Customer Service.
4. Due to the nature of our products, we are not able to accept returns if product packaging has been opened.
5. The customer must return the product using prepay-and-add. Upon investigation, if Tisch Scientific is responsible for the error, Tisch may issue a complete reimbursement of return shipping charges.
6. IMPORTANT: A 15% re-stocking fee will be charged to all returned goods.

Custom products are not eligible for return or refund.

Warranty (last updated Feb. 20, 2025)

Any warranties offered by suppliers are transferable to Tisch Scientific customers and will remain valid for up to 1 year from delivery of the product in question to the customer. To qualify for a warranty replacement, refund, or credit (not to exceed the value of the covered item or items), the customer must provide evidence of the defect within the warranty window. Using a product for any purpose other than its intended purpose shall void all associated warranty claims. Upon investigation of a warranty claim, if a defect is found, Tisch Scientific will work with the customer to determine the best way to resolve the claim for all concerned parties. Product warranties only cover items purchased from Tisch Scientific and are not intended to cover any potential damage to equipment or materials resulting from the original defect. If a manufacturer provides a warranty beyond the reseller's warranty term limit, the manufacturer warranty shall take precedence.
