Sterilizing-grade syringe filters deliver sterile-grade retention as a single-use format, eliminating the autoclaving and cleaning cycle a reusable sterile filtration setup would require. The cellulose acetate matrix stays stable across pH 4 to 8 while intercepting bacteria before they cross its smallest rating and binds BSA at 3.8 micrograms per square centimeter. The polypropylene housing presses snugly against the membrane during the pass while sustaining efficient flow on viscous samples and stands firm against aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols during regular handling. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.

Sterilization Guidance

Standard autoclave cycles at 121°C for 30 minutes prepare the device for sterile workflows.
