Sterilizing-grade syringe filters deliver sterile-grade retention as a single-use format, eliminating the autoclaving and cleaning cycle a reusable sterile filtration setup would require. Cellulose acetate delivers sterile-grade retention at the rated sub-micron pore size while binding less protein than mixed cellulose ester of similar size and takes up aqueous buffers on contact. Polyolefin construction sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample and holds its seal true run after run. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.

Sterilization Guidance
