A syringe filter dispenses filtrate directly into an autosampler vial, without the intermediate collection vessel a bulk vacuum filtration setup typically needs. The cellulose acetate matrix stays stable across pH 4 to 8 while binding less protein than mixed cellulose ester of similar size and takes up aqueous buffers on contact. The polypropylene housing resists aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols in routine use while shedding virtually no extractable material into the sample and presses snugly against the membrane during the pass. Where bench-scale prep must move quickly from one sample to the next, each sample starts as clean as the last without a carry-over risk or a cleaning step between uses.
