A sterilizing-grade syringe filter delivers point-of-use sterile filtration in a single-use format, without the housing and gasket maintenance a reusable stainless steel filter holder requires. The cellulose acetate membrane takes up aqueous buffers on contact and stays stable across pH 4 to 8. Polypropylene housing is factory-sterilized and packaged to preserve that state until use while pressing snugly against the membrane during the pass and sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.
