Whatman GD/X Nylon Syringe Filters, 5 µm, 25 mm, 150/Pk - 6871-2550

Whatman places a fibrous glass mat before the final membrane in every GD/X device, clearing a turbid sample in one pass through the same housing. Sample preparation for chromatography often ends with a syringe filter on the path to the vial. The nylon matrix handles alcohols and aliphatic and aromatic solvents while delivering sharp particle cutoff at the rated pore size and pairs with a glass-fiber prefilter for turbid samples. The polypropylene housing maintains its geometry through sample runs up to 121°C while standing firm against aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols during regular handling and routes flow to minimize backpressure in service. Where bench-scale prep must move quickly from one sample to the next, each sample starts as clean as the last without a carry-over risk or a cleaning step between uses.
