A hydrophilic graft lets PVDF wet HPLC samples despite its fluoropolymer backbone while shielding hydrophobic backbone from protein with surface modification and resists HPLC mobile phases, alcohols, and mild hydrocarbons. The polypropylene housing routes flow to minimize backpressure in service while pressing snugly against the membrane during the pass and maintains structural integrity through elevated-temperature sample preparation.
