Whatman GD/X PVDF Syringe Filters, 0.2 µm, 25 mm, 150/Pk - 6873-2502

Whatman stages multiple glass fiber layers inside the GD/X cartridge to intercept particles in progressive steps, leaving only the smallest fraction to reach the tightly rated final membrane. A sterilizing-grade syringe filter delivers point-of-use sterile filtration in a single-use format, without the housing and gasket maintenance a reusable stainless steel filter holder requires. The hydrophilic PVDF membrane loads aqueous mobile phases on first contact and reverses PVDF's natural affinity for protein adsorption. The polypropylene housing holds its seal true run after run and keeps the sample chemically unaltered across the pass. Where bacterial contamination must stay out of the sample, the sub-micron pore rating clears it before the sample reaches the instrument.
