Whatman Puradisc PTFE Syringe Filters, 0.2 µm, 13 mm, 2000/Pk - 6766-1302

A syringe filter with a hydrophobic vent-rated membrane keeps gas and vent lines free of microbial ingress. The PTFE membrane withstands aggressive organics that degrade other media while blocking aqueous ingress in vent applications and filters aggressive organic solvents without breakdown. The polypropylene housing routes flow to minimize backpressure in service and holds its geometry through sample filtration at temperatures up to 121°C. A vent or gas line stays free of airborne bacteria once a hydrophobic, sterilizing-grade membrane is in the path.
