Whatman 25 mm Puradisc Filters are produced from pigment-free polypropylene with standard inlet (female luer lock) and outlet (male luer) connections. Options include a sterile, medical-grade blister pack for critical applications and a special tube tip outlet that allows the sample to be accurately dispensed into a micro-vial, eliminating air lock.

This Puradisc 25 syringe filter combines premium quality with economic efficiency. They are well suited for rapid, routine syringe filtration of samples up to 100 ml. Puradisc syringe filters cater to a wide variety of sample types and applications, including capillary electrophoresis, biological preparations, protein filtration, and UV spectroscopy sample preparation. Different Puradisc membrane media support diverse chemical solvents and compounds.

This model has a 0.40.45 µm pore hydrophilic polyether sulfone membrane designed for stability in low pH, have low levels of extractables, and exhibit low protein binding, and allow more liquid flow that either PVDF or PTFE. They are perfect for many aqueous and organic solvents.
