Syringe filters replace the separate holder and vacuum apparatus of bulk filtration with a single disposable unit, eliminating cleaning between samples. The glass microfiber matrix delivers nominal retention as a depth medium while staying biologically inert across diverse chemistries and draws aqueous samples through without preconditioning. Polypropylene construction maintains a low-dead-volume internal flow path while holding its seal true run after run and preserves sample chemistry across the flow path. When method reproducibility rests on consistent sample prep, syringe filtration holds that standard injection after injection.
