Each hydrophobic vent-rated filter carries manufacturer bacterial retention testing built into the design, letting a vent line stay in continuous service without repeating that testing on site between uses. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane provides bacterial retention in gas and vent streams while suiting solvent filtration where other membranes fail and resists attack from the harshest process chemistries. Polypropylene construction maintains a low-dead-volume internal flow path and leaves no seam for sample to bypass the membrane. Downstream equipment and work areas stay protected from airborne bacterial contamination once the vent path runs through the membrane.
