Syringe filters replace the separate holder and vacuum apparatus of bulk filtration with a single disposable unit, eliminating cleaning between samples. Hydrophobic PTFE blocks aqueous ingress in vent and gas applications while staying chemically inert against solvents, acids, and alkalis in service and handles concentrated acids and bases. Polyolefin construction sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample while pressing snugly against the membrane during the pass and stays inert across common laboratory solvents. Where analytical results depend on clean samples, the preparation step stays consistent from sample to sample through a pre-tested syringe filter.
