Featuring a naturally hydrophilic Nylon 66 (polyamide) membrane reinforced with an inert polyester support web, these 47mm filter disks deliver dependable general filtration and sample clarification at a 0.45um pore size. Because the nylon medium wets out evenly with water and aqueous solutions, it eliminates the need for wetting agents that can interfere with biological processes. The polyester support web provides dimensional strength and stability that prevents cracking, tearing, curling, and breaking during aggressive handling or use with automated equipment. The membrane is supplied plain white in a nonsterile pack of 100.
