The monofilament nylon fibers can be woven very precisely to create industrial textiles with narrow pore distribution. The round, smooth, regular, continuous, monofilament yarn and precision weaving process make this Nylon Filter Fabric in uniform, square and fine mesh opening at 44µm aperture size. It is a semi-crystalline engineering plastic and has high strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. It is suitable for demanding applications due to its good wear and abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation properties. This roll stock configuration provides continuous 5-yard length material for custom fabrication into specialized filtration components and screening applications.

• High melting point of around 260-270°C enables processing in elevated temperature environments without dimensional degradation
• Resistant to common solvents and to alkalies but are attacked by strong mineral acids. Good abrasion resistance and low coefficient of friction. Working temperature is typically around 239°F (115°C)
• Excellent resistance to oils, fuels, gasoline, mineral spirits, hydrocarbons, and some alcohols. Nylon 66 can handle gasoline and oils. It also stands up to weak acids and weak alkalis
• 44µm pore configuration provides precise particle retention while maintaining optimal flow characteristics for liquid and air filtration protocols
