Syringe filters replace the separate holder and vacuum apparatus of bulk filtration with a single disposable unit, eliminating cleaning between samples. The nylon membrane resists alkaline conditions across a broad buffer range while delivering sharp particle cutoff at the rated pore size and pairs with a glass-fiber prefilter for turbid samples. Polyolefin construction sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample while resisting degradation from routine sample matrices and leaves no seam for sample to bypass the membrane. When chromatographic methods demand particle-free injections, the column stays clean from run to run, protecting method performance and column life.
