Pall Acrodisc PTFE Syringe Filters, 0.45 µm, 4 mm, 750/Pk - 4472
Pall applies its proprietary membrane manufacturing capabilities, integrating specialized media into the Acrodisc housing geometry. A syringe filter holds its membrane in a leak-tight housing for clarification at the bench. PTFE stays chemically inert against aggressive solvents, strong acids, and alkalis in service and suits gas, vent, and solvent-stream filtration. The polypropylene housing resists aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols in routine use while contributing minimal extractables to the filtrate and maintains a low-dead-volume internal flow path. For routine sample preparation across many methods, the syringe filter folds clarification into one disposable step.
