Pall Corporation engineers proprietary membrane media and the Acrodisc housing platform, purpose-built for demanding analytical and bioprocess workflows. At the point of sample preparation, a syringe filter removes particulates before the sample reaches the instrument. Water-wettable PTFE wets directly with aqueous and organic samples while filtering aqueous and organic samples in one membrane and keeps protein binding low for accurate recovery. The PP housing stays inert across common laboratory solvents and buffers in routine use and maintains a low-dead-volume internal flow path. When chromatographic methods demand particle-free injections, point-of-use syringe filtration clarifies the sample before it reaches the column.
