At the bench, a leukocyte-capture syringe filter retains white cells while the filtrate passes through to collection. The Leukosorb web holds captured cells recoverable by reverse flow and draws on both size exclusion and adsorption. Polypropylene construction holds extractable contribution low for sensitive analyses while maintaining housing integrity through the filtration run and routes flow to minimize backpressure in service. Where downstream extraction depends on recovered white cells, the capture step concentrates them from the draw volume.
