    PVDF Blotting Membranes, 0.2 µm, 26 cm x 3.3 m, 1/roll - PVM020C-099

Pall's membrane casting controls deliver consistent protein binding and transfer performance across production lots of its FluoroTrans PVDF membranes. High-binding PVDF holds transferred proteins through stripping and reprobing. The PVDF surface wets through a brief methanol activation step while capturing transferred proteins at high binding capacity and supports chemiluminescent, colorimetric, and fluorescent detection. Where stripping and reprobing matter, mechanically strong PVDF carries the blot through repeated rounds.

    Key Characteristics

    • Mechanically strong membrane withstands stripping and reprobing cycles
    • Retains bound protein under SDS, urea, and organic-solvent wash conditions
    • Well suited to high-molecular-weight proteins and protein sequencing
    • Compatible with chemiluminescent, colorimetric, and fluorescent detection
    • Hydrophobic surface activates with a brief methanol step before transfer

Strong, even protein transfer and immobilization set up the sensitive detection your blots depend on. Dependable protein capture holds your transferred targets through detection from blocking through antibody probing and imaging. • Quantitative Western - Supports reproducible, high-capacity protein capture for quantitative fluorescent Western workflows.
    • High-MW Protein Transfer - Holds high-molecular-weight proteins through transfer and detection with high binding capacity.
    • Western Blotting - Captures electrophoretically transferred proteins for chemiluminescent and fluorescent immunodetection.
    • Phosphoprotein Detection - Retains bound protein under stringent washes for phospho-specific antibody immunodetection assays.
    • Protein Sequencing - Immobilizes proteins on a chemically stable membrane for N-terminal sequencing and downstream analysis.
    • Stripping and Reprobing - Withstands repeated stripping and reprobing cycles for multi-target analysis on a single membrane.
