    Featuring a thin, translucent polycarbonate track-etched (PCTE) film with precisely defined cylindrical pores, this hydrophilic membrane disc delivers exact 0.2um surface filtration across a 142mm diameter. The membrane is produced through a two-step manufacturing process in which polycarbonate film is exposed to ion particles that create tracks, which are then chemically etched into precise, cylindrical pores, giving exceptional control over pore size and density. A polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) treatment renders the membrane hydrophilic for use with water and aqueous solutions without pre-wetting. Each pack contains 20 nonsterile white discs.
