Featuring a thin, microporous polycarbonate track etched (PCTE) film with precisely defined 3.0um pores, these 13mm membrane discs deliver controlled, surface-capture filtration for general purpose and high purity work. Manufactured through a two stage track etching process, the membrane controls pore size and density so that all particles larger than the pore size are captured on the smooth, flat surface rather than within the structure. Although polycarbonate is naturally hydrophobic, this membrane is treated with a wetting agent to render it hydrophilic, and ships nonsterile in packs of 100.
