Sterilizing-grade syringe filters deliver sterile-grade retention as a single-use format, eliminating the autoclaving and cleaning cycle a reusable sterile filtration setup would require. The treated PTFE membrane combines aqueous wetting with broad solvent resistance while delivering sterilizing-grade liquid retention at sub-micron pore sizes and filters aggressive organic solvents without breakdown. The polypropylene housing resists aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols in routine use and sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample. When sample preparation calls for a sterile filtrate at the point of injection, sterilizing-grade absolute retention delivers it directly, protecting the analytical method from microbial interference.
