The hydrophobic PTFE membrane suits gas, vent, and solvent-stream filtration while staying chemically inert against solvents, acids, and alkalis in service and clarifies solvent streams at the rated pore size. Polyolefin construction sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample and holds its seal true run after run. Where analytical results depend on clean samples, the preparation step stays consistent from sample to sample through a pre-tested syringe filter.
