A single-use hydrophobic vent filter reaches sterilizing-grade retention on a vent line without the autoclave cycle or in-line housing a reusable gas filtration setup would require. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane provides bacterial retention in gas and vent streams while repelling water and passing gases and solvents freely and suits solvent filtration where other membranes fail. The PP housing is factory-sterilized and individually wrapped for aseptic sample preparation while preserving sample chemistry across the flow path and routes flow to minimize backpressure in service. Downstream equipment and work areas stay protected from airborne bacterial contamination once the vent path runs through the membrane.
