The 13mm membrane is welded into an 18mm transparent polypropylene housing with a 0.76 cm2 effective filtration area, providing a low holdup volume of less than 50 microliters to minimize sample loss. Female Luer-Lok inlet and male Luer slip outlet connections ensure a secure fit to standard syringes, and each device ships nonsterile in packs of 100.
