A single-use hydrophobic vent filter reaches sterilizing-grade retention on a vent line without the autoclave cycle or in-line housing a reusable gas filtration setup would require. PVDF provides sterilizing-grade retention at the rated sub-micron pore size while resisting HPLC mobile phases, alcohols, and mild hydrocarbons and blocks aqueous ingress in venting applications. Pre-sterilized polypropylene construction is individually wrapped for direct use in sterile workflows while routing flow to minimize backpressure in service and preserves sample chemistry across the flow path. Downstream equipment and work areas stay protected from airborne bacterial contamination once the vent path runs through the membrane.
