A syringe filter's small hold-up volume limits sample loss, a meaningful difference when working with a limited or precious sample. PVDF holds consistent absolute retention at the rated pore size while repelling water for dependable gas and vent filtration and holds up to alcohols and mild hydrocarbon solvents. The polypropylene housing presses snugly against the membrane during the pass while routing flow to minimize backpressure in service and delivers a chemically clean filtrate to the downstream step.
