Featuring a naturally hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane with a 0.45 micron pore size, this 25mm sterile syringe filter delivers fast, reliable clarification of aqueous and organic solutions. The PVDF membrane provides very low protein binding and broad chemical compatibility, making it well suited to protecting analytical instrumentation and preparing protein-containing samples. A modified acrylic housing bidirectionally supports the membrane, and each device is integrity tested to ensure a proper filter fit and weld that eliminates filter by-pass. Filters are individually labeled with the specific membrane material and pore size, and supplied 50 per pack.
