Featuring a hydrophilic regenerated cellulose membrane sealed inside a one-step syringeless filtration vial, this device integrates the autosampler vial, filtration membrane, plunger insert, and precut septa cap into a single PFAS-free unit for rapid sample preparation. The 0.20um membrane delivers very low protein binding and broad solvent compatibility, contributing minimal extractable material across a wide range of aqueous and organic sample solvents. The liquid is placed in the external vial and dispensed by pressing the internal insert, pushing the sample through the membrane so it is filtered and ready to load directly into the autosampler.

    Key Regenerated Cellulose Membrane Characteristics

    • Naturally hydrophilic media that wets readily with aqueous samples for fast, consistent filtration.
    • Very low protein binding that helps preserve precious analytes and maintain sample integrity.
    • Broad solvent compatibility with high mechanical strength for use across aqueous and organic media.
    • Very low extractables across a wide variety of sample solvents, reducing background interference.
    • 0.20um rated for fine clarification ahead of HPLC and UHPLC analysis.

    Key Construction Characteristics

    • Polypropylene housing with a silicone precut septa cap for clean, easy sample transfer.
    • 32mm vial format with a 12mm membrane diameter, compatible with most standard HPLC and UHPLC autosamplers.
    • PFAS-free, nonsterile construction supplied 100 vials per pack.
    • Gray color coding for quick identification of the regenerated cellulose, 0.20um version.
    • Fill line volume of 480uL, filtering capacity of 450uL, and dead volume as low as 30uL to conserve sample.

The single-step press-and-filter design eliminates separate syringes, syringe filters, and transfer steps, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and sample loss. Each vial delivers reliable, reproducible clarification that protects analytical columns and needles from clogging and back-pressure buildup. The result is consistent sample integrity from preparation straight through to autosampler injection.
