Whatman Puradisc Water-Wettable PTFE Syringe Filters, 0.2 µm, 13 mm, 500/Pk - 6773-1302
Whatman's established manufacturing platform delivers the consistency and lot-level documentation that analytical laboratories require. A syringe filter holds its membrane in a leak-tight housing for clarification at the bench. The hydrophilic PTFE membrane resists strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents and accepts aqueous samples without pre-wetting. The polypropylene housing routes flow to minimize backpressure in service while resisting aqueous acids, bases, and alcohols in routine use and prevents sample bypass under rated operating pressure. For routine sample preparation across many methods, the syringe filter folds clarification into one disposable step.
