A syringe filter seats a membrane in a sealed housing that threads onto a standard luer fitting. PTFE delivers absolute particle cutoff at the rated pore size while suiting gas, vent, and solvent-stream filtration and stays chemically inert against solvents, acids, and alkalis. The PP housing keeps the fluid path low in extractable contamination while maintaining a low-dead-volume internal flow path and prevents sample bypass under rated operating pressure.
