    Featuring indicating FTA technology in a 96-well configuration, this card provides collection, long-term ambient storage, and purification of plasmid and bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) DNA from bacterial clones. Apply 5 µL of bacterial culture, resuspended colony, or glycerol stock per sample area, with a maximum of 480 µL total per card across all 96 positions. The FTA matrix lyses cells on contact and binds the released DNA to the card fibers, where it remains stabilized and protected from nucleases, oxidation, UV damage, and microbial and fungal attack. The pink-colored matrix changes to white upon application of liquid samples, allowing easy identification of sample location.
