Sterilizing-grade syringe filters deliver sterile-grade retention as a single-use format, eliminating the autoclaving and cleaning cycle a reusable sterile filtration setup would require. The nylon membrane delivers bacterial retention at the rated pore size while adding a layered prefilter for particulate-laden samples and fits routine analytical sample preparation. Polyolefin construction sheds virtually no extractable material into the sample and resists degradation from routine sample matrices. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.
