At the sub-micron pore rating, a syringe filter delivers sterilizing-grade retention at the point of use. The PES membrane loads aqueous buffers with zero pre-wetting delay and stays stable across the pH 1 to 14 range. Pre-sterilized polypropylene construction is individually wrapped for direct use in sterile workflows and delivers a chemically clean filtrate to the downstream step. For workflows requiring validated sterile-grade performance, point-of-use retention meets it without a separate sterilization step.
